Haunted Universities

The sound of footsteps, door slamming, and children laughing are the creepiest sound that you might hear in the dead of night when you are fast asleep in your dorm room and be awakened in the middle of the night.  Most of the universities are haunted, but they are the most popular universities to go and they have an excellent curriculum.

Montcalri State University

Montclair State University in New Jersey is said to be one of the most haunted colleges in America.  For years there have been reports of doors and windows slamming, lights flickering on and off, constant cold, and even a ghost who hovers over the beds of the students.

Montclair is built on top of Indian burial grounds, and alumni say it’s a very scary school. So scary, that many refuse to go in the woods after sundown. There have been many reports of figures believed to be Native Americans spotted in the forests.

Students reported appliances and lights turned on and off, bedroom and bathroom doors would have opened and the sound of a little girl laughing in the hallway.  Door knobs would rattle too.

A female resident woke up in the middle of the night to find a man dressed in 19th-century clothing standing over her bed with a loving facial expression. She thought that it was her roommate’s boyfriend and told him that he had the wrong bed. After saying this, she watched the man suddenly vanish into thin air.

Cal State University

Cal State University Channel Islands (Camarillo, CA)

It is never a good idea to build a university on the grounds of an old insane asylum it was closed in 1997, and it was used as a film location for Halloween (1978).  Since it was abandoned for several years, in 2002, they opened Cal State, and students have reported seeing the universities old residents wandering the grounds, halls, and streets of Cal State. Inmates are seen entering rooms which are empty upon investigation. Another inmate dances in a parking lot at night, only to fade as he approaches the streetlights. Scarier still are the violent ghosts who have thrown objects, knocked students over, and vandalized locked classrooms.

Fordam

Fordham University

Fordham’s Bronx campus is creepy looking enough to have been featured in The Exorcist (the campus was used in the filming of The Exorcist), and its plethora of ghost stories stand up to its frightening feel: the school, which dates back to 1841, was built atop of old hospitals and morgues and it is haunted by every kind of ghost, from children to priests.

More will come …

Boo… What’s that behind you!

Dude Where’s my Classes?

Class pic

When your child enters a college or university, it will be so different than high school, no more bell sounds, the students will be all over in the hallways bumping into you, and they have to carry fifteen pounds of books on their back! I hope they have medical insurance for a chiropractor! It will be a different world when they enter.

First, they need a map of the campus to find all of the buildings they need to go for their classes. Most of the time they will spend their lives in the library, that’s the place to do homework. The dorm room is a place to sleep and do more homework.

Classes may be in different buildings or the other side of the campus. I hope they have the gym shoes, it’s time for the shoes to do some walking and it is the best time to do some cardio too.

Here’s a tip, try to have your classes nearby to other buildings, so you don’t have to rush or run to classes, and be late.  A possible a hand-written excuse from your professors to give? No. Don’t be late to classes.

Back in high school, they used to get up early for their eight o’clock classes or earlier for activities before classes.

Try to arrange your classes between 10:00 am through 2:30 pm, that means you still have to get up in the morning. Do you really want to get up five o’clock in the morning or before sunrise or see an apparition in your room that wasn’t supposed to be there? Your room is haunted!  You are up anyway, might as well get ready and finished that homework assignment. And eat breakfast.  And try to schedule any activities in the afternoon or evenings.  If a class is overbooked in the morning, don’t worry you won’t be dragged across the floor just schedule another time when it is available, if they have a midnight class, take it.

If you have a gap between classes don’t just sit there and do nothing or meditate, you might fall asleep on the couch or someone’s lap – that would be awkward if she’s attractive get her phone number.

Highlight the materials or rewrite your notes, in cursive to get a better understanding and prepared for the next class. Um, you all know that cursive is required in writing notes in class. Do you? Oh well.

Organize your backpack, have your notebook and books in order of class schedule times. Don’t leave your cell phone out; there’s a clock in the room, remember there is no class bell only your professor will excuse you.

Make sure you have the University app on your phone, this will alert you if there’s an emergency that the school has to close down due to weather.  Check your campus email. Check your assignment online too; there’s no excuse that your assignment will be late anymore. All of the assignments will be scan and monitor through online – that’s right your papers will be scanned for plagiarisms, even I don’t like it. I write well. However, the professor doesn’t read the papers anymore.

Midnight Classes

sleep-in-class 2

There are some universities that will teach a midnight class, if the student is willing to go to a class in their pajamas and bring a robe, and must be clean.  Body odor and a pillow is a prerequisite. On the other hand, they get to have great parking spaces near the classroom at night. And no, it’s not astronomy class at night.

Nevada https://www.csn.edu/ is one of the colleges that offer midnight classes.  The 2-year college with 12 campuses in southern Nevada, including the main campus in Las Vegas, chose to offer midnight classes in the spring 2010 semester due to an increase in enrollment–of approximately 8,000 students from spring 2009 to spring 2010, said Johnson. The Nevada school offered sections of biology and math in the spring, and are expanding offerings for the fall to include astronomy. “What better time to offer astronomy then at midnight?” Johnson said. The classes all were held in one building adjacent to the biology labs, but otherwise, the classes were the same without any modifications–except for the time of day. The lectures remain nearly similar to that of their morning counterparts, and the same laboratories and times are given to students. Johnson said many of the college’s students work second shift at casinos, so “for them, midnight is their noon.” Mary Bennett, the professor of Southern Nevada’s midnight biology class, said that the course ran the exact same way as her daytime courses. “I am a very lively teacher so falling asleep is not allowed in my class,” she said. The only difference that she noticed between a midnight and daytime course was “the great parking.” Johnson and her staff aren’t alone in scheduling classes at unusual hours.

“We have a 24-hour town here, this is when our students work,” said Sally Johnson, dean of the School of Math and Science at the College of Southern Nevada.

Bunker Hill Community College in Boston http://www.bhcc.mass.edu/ and Clackamas Community College  https://www.clackamas.edu/ in Oregon have already had successful introductions to midnight courses.

At Bunker Hill, the college offers introductory English and psychology classes at midnight. Because of overflowing attendance in the day time, they were other options too, online course, but some of the students wanted to take a midnight class instead.

Clackamas Community College initially offered a midnight welding course one night per week; it became so popular, that it was extended to four nights a week.

Anne Arundel Community College http://www.aacc.edu/  in Maryland is planning to offer midnight sections of psychology in the fall.

Also, big name universities places in California and New York and other popular universities are offering classes after midnight.

The extra assignments, if they want to pass a class, is to bring food and share it with the rest of the class, they must stay awake for a pop quiz. You can’t sleep on a quiz. It wouldn’t be a pop quiz.

America Got Talent: Call Backs 2

Puddles the Ckown

For the second week, 20 acts will perform, and 7 will move on, that leaves 13 acts to leave the competition, but will leave with their dignity that they made it through this round. They should do the same thing when American Idol comes back in the Spring of 2018. They should have new rules of how to select the best talent.

One example would be Jokgu the piano playing chicken gave the crowd a huge response when he auditions for the first time. However, when it was time for the callbacks for a second-time audition and played with another chicken. Both chickens got stage fright and one poop out an egg, I guess they were out. And I had fried chicken for supper.

For the guest judge, they brought recording artist DJ Khaled to help identify real talent for the evening.

It was no surprised that Khaled had a soft spot for one of the singers, they were other singers who were also great, but he had to pick one of the acts. I think they should change the golden buzzer rules watch all the acts first and then pick one to go to the live shows. Evidently, Khaled chooses Chase Goehring. He was trying to push the button again for Evie Clair, but it did not work, only act for each week, bummer.

Evie Clair 1

One of my favorites was Puddles Pity Party the Clown, Simon worst nightmare but this clown was special, the clown can sing. Sad clown with a fantastic voice. If this clown was on The Voice, the judges would not know who it is.  He sang a Celine Dion power ballad “All By Myself” to a huge ovation from the crowd and the judges. I bet the clown will be in the Top 5.

In the end, the judges had to choose which acts will go through the next round. I like this version of American Got Talent when the acts have to perform again for the audience and a guest judge. And the guest judge has to choose one of the acts to go through.

In this round, seven acts are saved, and they are Chase Goehring, Puddles the Sad Clown, Mirror Image, Junior and Emily, Colin Cloud, Yoli Mayor and Evie Clair.

Last week, they had Chris Hardwick, comedian and the host of The Wall a game show on NBC, gave his Golden Buzzer to 9-year-old singer Angelica Hale.

Advancing to the next round along with The Masqueraders, Sara and Hero, Singing Donald Trump, (My Favorite – don’t ask me he’s entertaining), Just Jerk, Demian Aditya, and Eric Jones

They’ll all perform at the Dolby Theater in the live rounds.

Who are your favorites?

Be sure to tune in every  Tuesday Night at 8 pm on NBC! Tuesday Night is Family Night!

Michael Phelps Got Eaten by a Shark

michael-phelps and shark

So we saw Michael Phelps race against the Great White?

Wait a minute!

Michael Phelps is racing a Great White!

No way.

This is impossible, how do you train a Great White to swim in a straight line against Michael Phelps? It’s impossible. If we can train Killer Whales to perform at Sea World, there’s no way or possible to train a Great White to swim in a straight line.

“Clearly, we can’t put Michael in one lane and a great white shark in the far lane. We are going have to do a simulation,” said Tristian Gutteridge, ecologist.

That was the great give away right there; they have to do CGI of shark swimming against Michael Phelps. It’s a simple logical explanation; we can’t put a man in the water with a great white, someone could get killed. And who get’s the medal, probably the great white. They should put Michael Phelps in a Sharkando movie; then it will be funny to see him out swim a shark. By the way, the shark won by two seconds of a point.

The whole hour of the program they talked about the speed of the sharks which was quite interesting to watch and to learn about – maybe there’s a pop quiz at the end of the show of who can out run a shark! Michael Phelps will be on the pop quiz, and it would be a wrong answer.

By the way, it was interesting to watch, however, they did it again. Remember Cannibal in the Jungle? I hope they do it again soon – it’s interesting to watch and learn, and get fool by it.

UFO Conspiracy: Hunt for the Truth

If you believe in UFOs or not or if you believe in Aliens or not. You would believe this. The government did cover up UFO’s and aliens over the past 70 years, and you would not believe what they found.  Even the military knew about this and never told us until now.

Here are several true stories from the military who witness of what they saw and they were threatened by the Men in Black if a word about UFOs and aliens exist today.

UFO Vietnam 1

In 1968, in the South China seas in Vietnam, there was a close encounter of the attack kind. American patrol boats reported two glowing circular craft following them in the demilitarized zone that separated North and South Vietnam. What the witnessed saw, was a UFO over the second patrol boat and blasted the boat with a flash of light followed by an explosion. The crew was shocked by what happened. They were pointing their guns at the UFO and was about to shoot at it until it blasted one of their boats.

It was the summer of 1968, where a fighter jet was chasing a UFO, the UFO was doing barrel rolls while flying close to the jet and the jet was shooting at it and then shot a missile at it, the UFO was much faster and it got away.

An Australian destroyer took a hit and they never found any enemy but this caused a war of what they never saw who it was coming. What they were shooting at? They never knew who was attacking them.

dead alein body 1

An alien was shot dead. It was a snowing morning in January 1978, where UFOs were sighted flying over Fort Dix and McGuire AFB, adjacent military bases. Air Force security patrol was ordered to the back gate of the McGuire AFB to allow entry to New Jersey State Police who were searching for something.

Army Base 1

Wright Patterso Base 1

One of the airmen on duty was Sgt. Jeff Morse, he told the state trooper that he was being pursued by a low flying UFO that hovered over his car. He then looked out in front of his vehicle and saw a creature with a large head and a slender body. Sgt. Morse could not believe what he saw. It was an alien staring at him in front of his car and then it walked away. In a panic, Sgt. Morse got out from his car, took out his 45-automatic gun and started to shoot at it in the blinding snowfall. Not knowing where it was.

Sgt. Morse and a colleague found the Alien body lying on the runway. The place was roped off the area as a “crime scene.”

Sgt. Morse and his colleagues were taken to an airbase in Ohio and they went through an intense interrogation of not to talk about it or they would be consequences on them and their families. They signed a form for they would never talk about it or what they saw.

America’s Got Talent is Back!

America's Got Talent - Season 12

Stop what you are doing and mark your calendar for a date with your TV, that’s right America’s Got Talent is back and on NBC and NBC is must see TV this summer of 2017.

Even though we missed Nick Cannon as the host of AGT, but the acts were incredible to watch last night!

I don’t care if you despise the judge’s decision, but sometimes they will give the contestant a second chance and great advice to succeed to the next round, they want the contestant to be better than the first time they did a minute ago, that’s a good thing.

Darci Lyne

Mel B used the Golden Button for the cute and adorable Darci Lynn and her singing rabbit, the rabbit, sang ‘Summer Time’ I hope she prepared for the live show sometime in August.

Oh my god, the singing trump. Who is this Donald Trump impersonator? He did a fantastic performance. I don’t care who is this person. He did a fantastic.  Can we vote for this guy? This video will go viral overnight and throughout the weeks, maybe months or years! Maybe for the second term – too far? I meant the second round!

Must watch. Just watch it!!

preacher lawson

Preacher Lawson is a hilarious comedian. His jokes are funny, and he used his body and facial movement to show the physicality of the joke. He made me laugh and I choke on a banana. If he doesn’t make it, I hope someone is watching him and give this guy more gigs or even a TV appearance and acting.

Will Tsai is a magician, and this was his first time performing magic in front of AGT audience. I never saw this before. I had to stop washing dishes to watch his performance. He did a cards and coins trick. His magic was extraordinary. I bet every magician and spectator want to dissect his magic and how he did it. Please don’t spoil his magic. Magic is supposed to fun and entertaining to watch, is not how he did it. Let magicians do their magic that’s entertaining to watch!

JUnior and Emily

Junior & Emily Alabi they are incredible dancers, and they are brother and sister team. I am glad his sister is keeping him straight with the danger of society pressuring him to do drugs and alcohol, that’s not good. We need guidance in the family. And their father is happy!

puddles-pity-party

Puddles Pity Party, I really don’t like clowns, but this clown was a sad clown, and he was magnificence he sang Sia’s Chandelier, and he was fantastic.

Please watch America’s Got Talent and see what other talents are coming, they might even surprise us. You will never know if you watch it! Mark it on your DVR to auto-tune and watch it live when it comes on, why watch it later, that’s family hour for the whole two hours.
