Haunted Theaters Halls in North Carolina

When we see a traveling Broadway play that comes to our area, they need a place to put a show. Eventually, the owner will tell them it’s a beautiful place and the stage area is massively big, and the dressing rooms are actually they never seen before. Actually, the dressing room is the same as an ordinary dressing room in any theater — lights on the mirror, bathroom in the corner, and a sink with a mirror. And of course, a smelling trash can with a burrito.

One thing theater owner won’t tell you, the building is old and with that, it has a lot of history behind it, and it is haunted.

McGlohan Theater

The McGlohan Theater in Charlotte, NC. It was named after a jazz pianist Loonis McGlohan. First, it was a Baptist Church in the early years and in the 1980’s it was converted into a performing arts building. The ghosts that inhabit the theatre are thought to be from the church days and have been heard roaming the halls and singing on the stage. It’s hard to be surprised considering the theatre is located in Spirit Square.

The Carolina Theater in Greensboro NC has two gruesome encounters of the paranormal. In 1927, the theater was open on Halloween night, and it was plagued by the death of a construction worker that fell to his death during the building construction.

In the 1980s a woman hid inside the theater after closing and was killed when a fire broke out. Her body was found in the stairwell, and since her presence in the building was unlawful, it is believed that she set the fire for attempting suicide.

Today, co-workers and visitors of the theater claim to have weird things to happen, like seats will be moving, lights flickering on stage during a rehearsal, and sometimes she will sit at the back of the auditorium watching the play and disappears.

The Old Courthouse Theater in Concord, NC. It was built in 1922 as a Baptist Church. In the 1970’s it was converted to a theater. The worst critic is “The Deacon” who is the apparition who stalks the premise of the building. He would flicker hall lights, rattling set pieces that he doesn’t know and messing with the stage lights. Whistling, singing voices, and jingling keys. It has been difficult with the new owners and recently there was a fire in 2018.

Mom Looks for Dates for Her Son

It’s Valentine’s Day, and it could be lonely for single people to find dates on Valentine’s day. Not this day, a mom in Maryland in her 50’s was showing a picture of her son and asking women or possible single women would they like to date her son – that would be embarrassing.

She was seen on two campuses in Towson, Maryland. The campus police issued an “incident advisory” meaning a link to pictures that she may have and the woman herself. Police say, “it may cause concern.”

University officials say the woman isn’t being sought for criminal investigation, but they do want her to stop.

When the son was found out, he did not say anything. He left the interview.

Haunted McDonalds in Cureo Texas

Haunted McDonalds in Cureo Texas

There’s a McDonalds in Cureo, Texas not only you get your breakfast, lunch, and dinner – but it is haunted!

Before it was a restaurant, it was a gas station, and numerous tragedies occurred over the past decades.

In the 1960s, a four-year-old boy was accidentally killed when his mother was filling up the car.

In the 1980s a mechanic was crushed and killed when the lift malfunction.  The same day, the mechanic served an arrest warrant charging him with the homicide of the daughter of a police officer, who had disappeared at the age of six over ten years earlier.

Dinners and workers at this small McDonalds have heard unexplained sounds. The toilets often flush by themselves, and the walk-in cooler was switched off from the inside during the night.

Wow, I thought someone farted while eating a big-mac.

This is a true story.

The Fast and The Furious 1954

The other night, I was scrolling on my TV, and I saw this The Fast and the Furious on TCM (Turner Classic Movies).

It’s the classic version of The Fast and the Furious. It stars John Ireland, Dorothy Malone, and Bruce Carlisle, in black and white. Bruce Carlisle died in 1980 at the age of 58. Sorry no pictures.

John Ireland
Dorothy Malone

The Budget of the movie was $66,000, and the Gross sales were $250,000. They had to use stock videos from other videos to make it better.

In 2001, version of the Fast and the Furious, the movie studio got the title rights, not the story rights. It’s about racing, but the 2001 version was so much better than the 1954 version.

The original title would have been Crash Out, a significant title changes help.

The car that was used was the Jaguar XK120.
