All in the Family and The Jefferson LIVE

Live in front of the audience was LIVE, but when Jamie Foxx, Oscar winner, acting as George Jefferson in the All in The Family, even his co-star Anthony Anderson and the rest of the cast either giggle or laugh, flubbed his lines. Jamie Foxx handles it like a professional. Woody, who played Archie Bunker, could not control his laughter, he turned around to hide his laughter, that’s what happened when you do live performance in front of millions of people either with the studio audience and TV audience. There was another one when George walks on Bently’s back the boom mic appears in the frame.

The only actors who were believable were Marisa Tomei, Wanda Sykes, and Jamie Foxx.  Other actors Ellie Kemper, Ike Barninholtz, Anthony Anderson, Marisa Tomei, Wanda Sykes, Mara Gibbs, Jennifer Hudson, Will Ferrell, Amber Steven West, Stephen Tobolosky, Sean Hayes, Jackee Harry, and Kerry Washington. They did a tremendous job in performing their roles. if this show gets an Emmy Nomination, these actors deserve it.

Woody Harrelson and Marisa Tomei sang the opening song “Those were the days” it was perfect. The episode they did was “Henry’s Farewell”, which aired in October 1973. In which they meet the Jefferson at the party say farewell to Henry Jefferson, George’s brother

The script was written by Norman Lear himself, a fantastic comedy writer.  If people wanted to be a scriptwriter for television, they should learn from the best from Norman Lear writings and his shows.

The name mention in conversation was Shirley Chisholm,  Democratic in 1968 she became the first black woman elected to the United State Congress. In 1972, she became the first black candidate for a major party’s nomination for President of the United States, and the first woman to run for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.

In The Jefferson pilot, “A friend in Need,” premiere in January 1975, George demands that Louise hire a maid. However, the couple ends up hiring a sassy maid.

In the LIVE version show in 2019  and the IMDB mention someone else, which was a decoy. We did not know who will play the maid until Marla Gibbs appeared in the doorway of the Jefferson apartment. She was the original maid in the series. The studio audience and the TV audience was surprised to see, and she still knew her lines, and she did not flub her lines at all, she was a fantastic performer.

In the original show in the 1970s family hour was considered to be the 8 pm hour, Norman Lear and the executives pushed the FCC to show the program around the 8 pm slot, not 9 pm or later, of course, there were lawsuits back in those days, and so Norman won the case. The N-word was used on the show, live in front of the studio audience and the TV audience that shocked America, and it made news back in the 1970’s.

The point of these two iconic shows tells the relationship between black and white and how they were treated differently and the language they used back in the 1970s. We could learn a lot about the relationship back then, today too much chaos. They are still showing the classic of All in the Family and The Jefferson on syndication.

There are few shows, such as The Goldbergs on ABC they used foul language too, but it is bleeped out, which is considered to be in the story content.

The same thing with Norman Lear shows on the story content and how it was used on the air. Especially during a family hour at the 8 pm slot.

If you missed the episode either catch it on demand or they may repeat it, during the Memorial Day weekend.

The Nobel Peace Prize: Family and Friendship can make you successful in life

If you watch The Big Bang Theory, the theory is family and friendship will make you successful in life.

Getting a Nobel Peace Prize is far better than Emmy, Grammy, Oscars, and the Tony awards. Seeing celebrities is obvious they will win, because of their portrayal of a character that makes us believe that they embody that character and make us think that they were real, and we applaud for there performance.

Getting a Nobel Peace Prize, is the highest award of all. Scientist solving the world’s problem. We could be a scientist.  Why is it f—-ed up? It could be economy, crime, drugs (we have too much of crime and drugs already), and what technology can help us do.

Teacher and Professor are stressing their students to become great thinkers and be better leaders. Find a solution and make  America great. We need engineers. We need great minds and able to work together.

When we see our child growing up, what are there dreams and goal in life. It may cost money. There are our children, and we must help them in any way we can to make them succeed in life. They have to take what’s in front of them and make it better for they could survive in this reality of life. No one is going to hand over things for them; when they get older, they have to work and be responsible. Parents should be involved in their child education. Who are the best teachers for their children – the parents? They know their child better than teachers in the public school.

I never know the writing is a powerful message to reach other people and share our ideas and knowledge of what we know. I hated writing when I was younger. But I found out, that we can create stories and fantasy by writing. Cursive handwriting is not obsolete. It’s mandatory.

Now we have videos and YouTube, and they stress the same thing. We have to write about what we want to share. We have to edit ourselves. My professors and teachers stress this every day keep a journal, that is your backup, your secrete, your life. Keep it with you. If you keep it on a computer, sometimes computers can get a virus or crashes. Save it to a cloud drive, and you can access it anywhere. But make sure you have enough storage and remember your password.

Every day, we see crime and drugs, and it must stop.  What’s the solution? Built something big. Built something that people can’t penetrate. Don’t hurt or kill people; that’s blood on your hands. We have to stop crime, that’s why we need engineers. Math and science or the STEM program can help us in the future.

So when they graduate from High School, College or University. It’s the knowledge and research they have to do, and they must apply what they know.

Jay Leno’s Cholesterol 911

Who stays up late and watch the late night shows like Johnny Carson, David Letterman, and Jay Leno. Oops wrong people, these are the originals king of late night on NBC, these comedians know how to make us laugh at night and wake us up in the morning, and we feel happy.

Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon
Watch Jay Leno on CNBC

Jay Leno still makes an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, whenever he promotes a cause, book or his new show Jay Leno’s Garage on the CNBC. Whenever he interviews celebrities or car owners, Jay Leno loves cars he even fixes old antique car and today’s cars too, he still makes me laugh, and I learn a thing about cars.

Jay Leno said in an interview that he isn’t laughing at late night television anymore, they need better writers and Jay Leno sleeps early.

The late-night shows have become ‘too political,’ and comics are having a tough time writing topical jokes and poke fun at people in a good way. We get tired hearing Trump Jokes all the time.

Can we please stop telling Trump jokes and poke fun at other stuff. Or something else.  Why not Nancy Pelosi, she looks funny even babies are crying at her just because she seems weird.  We want good entertaining comedians, and they are some out there when the host invites them to tell jokes, and they are quite funny, better than the host.

Jay Leno said it best “Clinton was horny, and Bush was dumb, and it was just a little easier.”

Nowadays, the late-night host are struggling to keep an audience especially the viewers at home watching late night shows to keep up with the news.

I still watch Jay Leno’s Garage on CNBC, his show worth watching.

Luke Perry

Another thing if you have high cholesterol, and perhaps we don’t know if we have it, having high blood pressure could cause having a stroke or even death. Remember a few weeks ago when Luke Perry, died he was 52. Fame actor from Beverly Hills 90210 and Riverdale on the CW. He had a stroke a week ago, and a few days later, he had a heart attack and died.

Lotte van der Zoe, former 2017 Miss Teen Universe died two weeks after suffering a heart attack while on vacation in Austria with her parents. She was 20.

Too young to die. Even teens can suffer from heart attacks if we monitor our eating habits and blood pressure, they could live longer. Teens don’t care and nor read the labels on food products; they eat anything they want and suffer consequences of their health the hard way.

Having high blood pressure is no joke. What we eat every day can kill us. If your doctor prescribes you with medicine to control your blood pressure, it’s good. However, it’s our diet. You have to control what you eat. Cut the salt and sugar away from your diet. If you can minimize your salt (other names for salt here) and sugar (Carbohydrates, other sugar names here) if we eliminate both of these, we could live longer.

Jay Leno suffers from high blood pressure, and he didn’t die, I hope he is watching his diet. Check out Cholesterol 911. Jay Leno wants us to know the signs of heart attack and stroke, and the resources to get help and change your diet. It can be preventable. Being a vegan can help your diet and make you live longer. Change your diet, if not you won’t be able to see your grandchildren.

60 ways Lower Cholesterol: What you really need to know to save your life

Movie of the Week: Varsity Blue

Here’s the pitch for the movie of the week

Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin will be starring in their own Hallmark movie called Varsity Blues. The story is about two parents who planned their child life’s to go to their perfect school, but the parents never graduate from College (at least one of them), they orchestrated a plan how to pass the SAT or ACT to get perfect score, and pretend that they never participate in a sport or activities, by photoshopping their image on a picture. And their child will go to the school of their choice and get the experience of a lifetime and excellent education and a better career than their parents.

Will this be a great movie of the week?

Eventually, it is based on a true story that came in the news lately. If Hollywood makes a movie about this, it will be interesting to watch.

Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin were caught in a cheating scam of helping their child to get into an Ivy school. By bribing the proctors, college coaches, and executives, there’s a whole list of names who participated. By helping to give them the right answers for their son or daughter can be happy.

Sounds like good parents, do you think? It’s nice to see parents getting involved in their child’s education.

Which is the same as the FBI operation mission – Varsity Blue. While the actors will be in the new season of Orange is the new Black.

This is a crazy story.

Parent’s can still help their children out. They can hire a coach or tutors who don’t give out the answer, but help the student out and guide them what to expect in an exam, and how to overcome trick questions that will appear on exams. They have to take the exams multiple times to get a good score if not, it’s not the end of the world.

They don’t have to go to an Ivy school a community-university is so much better, they can learn from professors who went to Ivy school themselves. They will tell you one thing:  Work hard and be smart. That’s the key to be successful in life.

Talk to your children, find out what they would like to do. Teach them how to be financially independent.  Sometimes high schools don’t teach the students how to be successful out of school. Practice your handwriting. Try to get a scholarship and try to get a job. Take a business course. If they take a business course as a major, that means whatever they choose they will know the business.

Acting and Singing is a business look at how actors get roles in movies. It’s a business. They study their craft, and they take classes and workshop.

Find something that your child likes to do take classes and workshop, and they will get a certificate of appreciation, and their hard work will improve and be recognized for their skills and talent. Learn from the best.
