Jackie Evancho was the finalist on America Got Talent in during the fifth season in 2010. Now 18, and looking beautiful will make a come back to America Got Talent: The Champions on Monday, February 4, 2019, on NBC.
Jackie says in an interview that she would go “go days without eating” because she couldn’t fit to look in the mirror without thinking she was “disgusting.” She went into depression, she had anorexia, and she had low self-esteem. She’s a teenager growing up and being famous. Other teenagers can be very cruel, and they would say mean stuff to her just because she was famous. Also social media site, people would put mean comments on her website.
Her parents notice that she wasn’t eating right, and notice right away, there was a problem. “Skipping dinners, as well as everything else.”
When would people ever learn not to post mean post on sites, this is like bullying. This is Jackie life, and she has a beautiful voice and a music career. Her fans buy her CDs. She is very successful than other teenagers, and people are just jealous that she was a runner up on AGT.
And she is even closer to her siblings, and one of them turn out to be transgender, so that makes three sisters and one brother and there even closer. Her best friend is Juliet Evancho, who used to be her brother.
If she wins America Got Talent: the Champion, her life will be ok.
