And the winner is

Chris RockThis is the 88th Academy Awards and Chris Rock was the host. He handle the elephant in the room good, no it was not Donald Trump, but it was the black community of actors who wasn’t nominated or won. His jokes were funny. However, they need more diversity. What they need is black screenwriters and great storytellers. They have plenty of black actors, but they need jobs to perform these characters. They could take a page of Black History month. Pick a historically figure in history who inspired America to be great again and make a movie out of it. Or make them as a Superheroes.

Star Wars was shut out because of Mad Max: Fury road won 6 awards for Best Costume, Production design, Hair and Makeup, Film Editing, Sound mixing, and Sound editing. I have to watch this.

black reaction

Did you know that black people would only watch black actors in the movies? The other movies they don’t know.

“What? That’s a movie.”

Brei larson 2

I need to get a room with Brie Larson, she won for Best Actress, for Room.

Leonardo DiCrapio

Leonardo DiCaprio finally won for the Revenant. Also pushing for climate change, so if you have to work this morning, just walk or take a bike to work. If you are late for work, just tell them there was traffic. Let’s do something with climate change.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga sang “Til It Happens to You,” her Oscar-nominated song about sexual assault, a curtain parted onstage, and dozens of grim-faced young men and women stepped forward.

A nominated song from the documentary movie “Hunting Ground” a documentary shocker about rape on American college campuses, is a must-watch work of cine-activism.

Mark Rylance from the Bridge of Spies won best supporting actor. Sylvester Stallone was eating Girl Scout cookies. Stay off the cookies. Chris Rock daughter and friends passed out the Girl Scout cookies and they raised enough money.

Alicia Vikander won Best supporting role for the “Danish Girl” while Ex Machina won for best visual effects.

Sopt Light

Spot Light won for best Picture. In 2001, editor Marty Baron of The Boston Globe assigns a team of journalists to investigate allegations against John Geoghan, an unfrocked priest accused of molesting more than 80 boys. Led by editor Walter “Robby” Robinson (Michael Keaton), reporters Michael Rezendes (Mark Ruffalo), Matt Carroll and Sacha Pfeiffer interview victims and try to unseal sensitive documents. The reporters make it their mission to provide proof of a cover-up of sexual abuse within the Roman Catholic Church.

How to Avoid Math?

Math 1

You can’t avoid it. Math is everywhere. You need a math because you need a clear thinking. If you can understand relationships (boyfriend or girlfriend) between each other that’s math. Or calculus. It’s complex. It’s complicated. Ugh! Might as well use my best friend as a relationship couple, most people do that. Don’t do that. People will think.

Anyway, If you don’t understand how to do it? What you going to do? Cheat? You can’t even do that or you will end up repeating the course again or be held back in your senior year of high school! That’s no good. Get a tutor to help you out and get your friends to help you out too. And once you graduate then become whatever you want to do. But math will haunt you back whenever someone ask you a word problem and then you will say “two plus two is four?”

There are high demand jobs such as electrician, carpentry, handyman, plumbing, fixing vehicles, internet, cashiers, writing, and computer requires mathematics.

Other jobs such as physical therapy, nurses, doctors, health careers, psychology, business, writing, and lawyers. They need math too.

Entertainment Industry, acting, directors, producers, movie and television editors, screen writing, especially in computer graphics, that’s right even in acting. If you have a background in mathematics, you may play your dream job as a teacher or a scientist in a TV or movie. Most of the actors today are highly qualify with a master in acting. Or something else. And they got training. Take some training classes in acting and see what happen.

You need math.

Take math in 12th grade mathematics or a pre-calculus course so your skills don’t get rusty. This will help students prepare for college math in college.

What’s the cosine of 1?

Ironman 3: The Mandarin

As you may know, Iron man 3 premiere in Los Angeles at the El Capitan Theatre last week, reaction of people who were watching it, mix, some like it and some don’t.  I don’t care what people said. There are lots of movies that are coming out this summer. I can’t wait to see the new Superman movie, it’s a reboot from the 1970’s where the special effects were being pioneer after the Star Wars premiere.

Like ordinary superhero Tony Stark (Robert Downy Jr. ) the billionaire entrepreneur built the ultimate superhero costume and from the previous movies, and he still has to iron his shirt. A little irony here, that’s ironic.

It will be a first when Pepper (Gwyneth  Paltrow) wore the Iron man robotic suit in the movie, from the red carpet premiere her outfit was gorgeous when she went commando. She needed the Ironman costume to cover up and keep warm.

Due to recent bombings last month, Don Cheadle (who plays Col. James Rhodes) stressing that the film was finished well before the bombings earlier this month, and that there is no political agenda.

“The job of this film is to entertain,” he said. “That’s what we’re hoping to do.”

The plotline about a terrorist known as The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) cuts too closely to the Boston Marathon bombing allegedly carried out by the Tsarnaev brothers earlier this month. We have to separate from reality to fantasy and most likely we like to watch fantasy movies like Ironman 3, even though the violence looked real, but it is all visual effects that brings movie to life.  The 3D in the move was superbly done and it does not interfere with the story, it just enhances the visual action sequences.

The story goes brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Ang Lee life with Pi wins Oscar

Ang Lee

Ang Lee took home the Best Director trophy for “Life of Pi,” earning the decorated Taiwanese filmmaker his second Oscar in the category. He previously won in 2005 for “Brokeback Mountain.” “Life of Pi” earned a total of four awards, including Oscars for Cinematography, Visual Effects and Original Score.

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture

When they announce the best actress winner to Jennifer Lawrence she looked absolute beautiful in a Dole Haute Couture Cinderella ball dress and she was best dressed at the Oscar.  When she tripped on the stairs, Prince Charming Hugh Jackman came to her rescue to hoist her up. Jennifer approached to the podium and grabbed her Oscar and she made an acceptance speech.

She made it, she got it and she beat Meryl Streep for being best actress.

“You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell and that’s really embarrassing. But thank you.” She said as she told the crowd as they were giving her a standing ovation.

While journalism were questioning her backstage she explain them “Was that on purpose? Absolutely! What happened? What do you mean what happened — look at my dress! I tried to walk up stairs in this dress, that’s what happened. I tried to walk upstairs and stepped on the fabric. They waxed the stairs. What was going through my mind? A bad word that I can’t say that starts with F.”

Ben Afleck - Argo

Michell Obama - Arog

“Argo” won for Best Picture  which was presented by First Lady Michelle Obama from the White House via satellite. Ben Affleck director and producer in this epic adventure to rescue 6 American held captive in Iran.  It won awards in Editing and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Anne Hathaway dreamed a dream of Oscar gold and it came true, winning Best Supporting Actress for her turn as Fantine in the film adaptation of the hit musical.  But her outfit did not win for best dress. She wore  a pale pink Prada  with criss- cross straps around the neck  and wider band that tied at her back, sectioning the open back into several parts. But she was stunning.

Christoph Waltz claimed the first trophy of the evening with a win for Best Supporting Actor for his role as bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz in “Django Unchained,” while writer/director Quentin Tarantino won Best Screenplay for his slavery-era revenge thriller.

Director Michael Haneke accepted the award for Best Foreign Language Film for his acclaimed Austrian drama “Amour.” It look interesting.

“Searching for Sugar Man,” a documentary about the search for a long-lost rock ‘n’ roll legend, won the award for Best Documentary Feature. I really want to see it because I really want to make and direct a documentary.

Pixar’s adventure “Brave” won for Best Animated Feature — the animation studio’s seventh Oscar in the category. Walt Disney’s “Paperman” won for Best Animated Short. Disney animation has always win in this category and I have seen most of the Oscar winning Disney Animation. Up! is still my favorite.

Pop vocalist Adele won the Oscar for Original Song for her soaring titular theme from the latest Bond film “Skyfall.”She’s an incredible singer.

In a rare Oscar tie, “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Skyfall” both won the award for Sound Editing. There have only been four previous ties in Academy Awards history, including in 1969, when Barbra Streisand and Katharine Hepburn both shared the Oscar for Best Actress for “Funny Girl” and “The Lion in Winter,” respectively. I hate to see the cat fight between these two women, but they are professional actors, they don’t fight.

Dairy of a Wimpy Kid: Dogs Day.

Sometime being a teenager is all in the mind of being a teenager, but when I watch ‘Dairy of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days’ it reminds of me of my days as a teenager when I was in middle school. I was friendly with a girl of my dreams, but we ended up as good friends, she did like me, but I did not want to jeopardize the relationship, but my best friend and especially my older sibling always pulling pranks on me.

‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ series based on Jeff Kinney’s books, since I am older now, I do read the books in the library and put them back on the selves. I would feel embarrassed reading a children’s book; especially I am an adult now.

The movie was great and I really like it.  The story is the school is out for the summer, and Greg is ready for the days of summer, when all his plans go wrong. What on earth is he going to do all summer?

Staring Zachary Gordon, he plays Gregg, He’s from Oak Park, California. He has been in numerous and memorable movies such as  R.L. Stine’s “The Haunting Hour,” Children Hospital (2011),  Because I Said So (2007), Desperate Housewife (2007), Georgia Rules (2007) with Lindsay Lohan,  and National Treasure: Book of Secrets, (2007). He was busy back then.

Robert Capron began his acting career when he was eight years old by enrolling in an after school drama program sponsored by Trinity Repertory Company. Later, that year he landed a role as Turkey Boy in Trinity’s production of A Christmas Carol. Since that time, Robert has performed a variety of roles on stage. Recently, Robert has turned his efforts to film. Robert’s first principal role was in Bride Wars where he played Robert. Shortly thereafter he earned a role as Young Dave’s pal in the movie Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Robert’s role as Rowley in Fox’s three-movie franchise Diary of A Wimpy Kid (2010, 2011) is perhaps his most recognized role to date. The third installment, Dog Days, it’s out now. In 2010, Robert landed his first voiceover role as Bob in the Tim Burton directed movie ‘Frankenweenie’, set for release on October 5th 2012. In April 2012, Robert played Young Curly in the movie ‘The Three Stooges.’ Looking ahead, Robert will be playing Derek in the 3D CGI motion-capture version of Tarzan which is set for release in 2013. In addition to theater, and film, Robert has also appeared on television as a guest star on ABC’s The Middle, and as the lead on two episodes of The Hub Network’s The Haunting Hour.

Peyton List from the Disney Channel hit series “Jessie” she started as on Soap Opera called ‘As the World Turns’ and stardom did catch up on her.

Karan Brar is also from the Disney Channel hit series “Jessie.” He started out in the first movie  Diary of  a  Wimpy Kid (2010).

So please watch ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days’ out now.
