Sitting too long and playing your video games can really kill you.

It’s not the violence in the game, but sitting too long and playing video games without any breaks. Where’s the chance of going to the bathroom, stretching, and Pilates.  Burning up hours on the computer can burn up the energy bill too.

A 20-year-old Chris Staniforth — who was offered a place to study Game Design atLeicesterUniversity– was killed by a pulmonary embolism, which can occur if someone sits in the same position for several hours – that’s no good. Sitting for a long period and playing games can cause a blood clot in the legs, and it could travel up to the lungs and to the heart too.

Medical experts agreed and fear youngsters which spend hours glued to their consoles might also be at risk and have urged them to take regular breaks.

Playing angry birds and other fun games on the computer can be addicted, but having cramps in the legs and getting the twisted feelings in the legs is not a good pain at all. The legs need to be stretch and walk. Play the game while standing up for a chance. The muscles in the legs need to be stretched at all times.

Teens all over the country are playing games for a long period of times without any breaks. They don’t realize it could harm them or possible it may kill them.

Sitting on the veins for too long,  can cause blood flow to stop and becomes a blood clot.

So if your teen is playing video games for a long period of time take frequent breaks, their health is more important than playing Halo.
