X Factor Audition Process

Simon and the Girls 9 14 2013

When Rylie Brown performed her song she almost forget the words of the song, but she recovered and made a tremendous come back. She had a great voice and determination. The judges like her and Simon said “you are the one to watch” meaning will she win the competition?

When Yosselm Marquez performed she sang and good voice, but why was she using her phone? She did not know the words of the song, but she had the lyrics on her phone. Is that how she cheats in school?  And yet she thought she would be a Latin bombshell Diva just like Paulina and the song she sang was a massacre.  It looked like she never saw the show and she did not know the rest of the judges, especially Simon.  She went home to her rock.

Roxxy Montana, sassy, adorable sibling trio who start strong on Jennifer Hudson’s “One Night Only.” But it quickly falls apart.  They regroup, however, and come back strong with an a cappella church song. And it work, with the right training they will do better when they got chosen to participant to be on the X-factor.

Denise Weeks, a subway singer, sang Whitney’s “Greatest Love of All” with the music track, but she was rushing with the song. Simon stopped the music and told her to sing a cappella and take her time and she did. She sang it perfectly with emotions.  No more singing in the Subway.

They should have shower install on the stage for contestants could sing in the shower.

Simone Torres sang and performed “Mustang Sally” it was good.  Her voice was bluesy and husky and bold.  If they can mold her into something modern, she could make it far.

Jorge Peña an Ice Cream truck sales and driver he knows his flavor with the girls and he’s a smooth operator. He sang good.  He insulted Demi by calling her woman and Demi did not like it. Paulina spoke to him in Spanish and he understood what she said. Paulina said in Spanish to straighten up with his behavior or go home immediately. I hope Demi doesn’t get him to be his Mentor. Background check anyone?

When a contestant Jocelyn Hinton sang, it was a little bad, but she kept on singing. The judges said no. It was not her calling to be a singer. So Simon walked her off the stage, because she would not go home.

When Russ Pouliot, elderly  sang Moon River the  generation gap of baby boomers or better yet generations X, the younger people booed him off. He did not sing good, it must have been generation Z, like in Zzzz. Asleep. Simon Cowel sang worst than him. If Simon was a music producer he could have used auto-tune it. They both went home. I meant the Russ went home.

So how was the show? With the new judges, all female judges and Simon included. It could be good.  Who will get what? The group, the over 25, boys and girls. The judges will be mentors of these contestants to be better singers and we will judge later when it comes to the live shows.

Cory Monteith Dies

Cory MonCory Monteith, died on July 13, 2013. He was 31 years old. What the Autopsy found was heroin and alcohol and that caused his death at the  Vancouver Hotel room where he collapses to his death. Reports said that he was battling demons, or could it be the angle of death that he confronted in his hotel room and decided to take away Cory Monteith. Sometime when Heroin and alcohol are mixed together people will often hallucinate. Did the Angel of Death appeared in the room with him? And had a confrontation before he died.

He left behind was his girlfriend and co-star Lea Michelle from “Glee” and close family members.

In an interview with Parade magazine in 2011, he discussed his history of substance abuse as a teen, and in April 2013 he again sought treatment for addiction. Maybe with all the energy and the drugs he has taken the night before he died caused him to his death.

He was the younger son of Ann McGregor, an interior decorator, and Joe Monteith, a military man who served in the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. He had an older brother named Shaun. Monteith’s parents divorced when he was seven years old, and he and his older brother were raised by their mother in Victoria, British Columbia. After the divorce he saw little of his father due to Joe Monteith’s military service, and he had social difficulties at school. From age 13, he used alcohol and marijuana and started being truant from school.

After attending 16 schools, including alternative programs for troubled teens, he dropped out altogether at age 16. By that time, his drug and alcohol dependency had increased and Monteith turned to petty crimes, such as stealing money from friends and family, to fund his addictions. The turning point in Monteith’s life came when his mother and a group of friends staged an intervention when he was 19, and he began attending a rehabilitation program. Monteith stated, “I’m lucky on so many counts. I’m lucky to be alive.” He eventually received his high school diploma in 2011 from an alternative school he attended in his youth in Victoria.

Monteith began his acting career in Vancouver, British Columbia. He played minor roles in Final Destination 3, Whisper, and Deck the Halls. He had a recurring role in Kyle XY. He also made guest appearances in television serials such as Smallville, Supernatural, Flash Gordon, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate SG-1. In 2005, he appeared in Killer Bash, about a tormented geek’s soul that was taking revenge on his murderer’s children by taking over a girl’s twin body. The following year, he made a brief appearance in Urban Legend: A Bloody Mary. In 2007, he starred in the MTV series Kaya as Gunnar. In April 2010, Monteith was cast in the romantic comedy movie Monte Carlo with Selena Gomez. In August 2010, he co-hosted the Teen Choice Awards. Monteith hosted the Gemini Awards in Toronto on 13 November 2010. In December 2010, it was announced that Monteith would be starring in and co-producing a new untitled workplace-caper comedy for Fox 2000.

Before breaking into show business, Monteith worked various jobs, including Walmart people greeter, taxicab driver, school bus driver, and roofer.

He will be missed from Glee when it appears in the fall of 2013. But his spirit remains at Glee.

Tate Stevens wins X-Factor

Tate StevensAs you may know Carly Rose Sonenclar was the runner up as Tate Stevens won the X-factor last night. Congratulation to Tate Stevens. Carly Rose had a journey of a ride on the X-factor.  Every week she out shine her competition and people loved her. But she couldn’t compete with Tate Stevens a country singer.

Carly Rose 12 21 2012Carly Rose Soneclar has a musical theater background that’s why she advances very week, because of her voice, her stage presence and she really worked hard – that’s success! Since she is in Los Angeles, California she could start her career as singer and maybe her mentor Britney Spears could help her out to fulfill her dream as a singer. It is not the end of the world for Carly Rose it’s a new civilization for her and a new year for her too.

Xfactor Top 3: Carly Rose, Fifth Harmony and Tate Stevens

Vote for her
Vote for her

As you may know already the Top 3 performers were selected and next week the winner will be announced on the Xfactor for the final performance of the Christmas season or this season.

For the first time this week they were no save of whom will go home. But it was really by the votes of the American people who voted for the contestants for the grand finally for next week.

When they were announcing of who will stay the judges were on pins and needles. They did not who was going or being saved.

From Simon Cowell group Fifth Harmony was saved. Tension was mounting as Britney Spears  was nervously waiting for the results and worried if Carly Rose would go home.

Then from LA Reid the cowboy and country singer Tate Stevens was saved. Everyone loves country. It looks like voting procedure were either adults or teens who like country singer because of Taylor Swift.

From the last two contestants Carly Rose Sonenclar and Eblem 3 were waiting patiently and they eager of who will go home and who will be saved.

Carly Rose Sonnenclar was saved and she will compete with the remaining contestants. As for Eblem 3, it’s not the end of the world for them they were great and pretty sure they will get a record deal and be another boy band for Simon Cowell or Girl band Fifth Harmony. If Simon Cowell use sex appeal for Fifth Harmony girls  and a nice hip hop song it would be great. But it comes down with the voice and who will command the stage likes Carly Rose did and how she shines and lit up the stage with her voice. Or a country cowboy Tate Stevens, like Taylor Swift.  Will Tate Stevens write his song like Taylor Swift does especially relationship songs? He’s been married to his wife for 15 years.

Bridget M - 2Ready or not here she come Bridgit Mendler, from Disney Channel “Good Luck, Charlie”, performed her hit song “Ready or Not” and she looked beautiful and gorgeous. I got her album.

I hope Britney Spears and Carly Rose pick a good song and I hope it would not be a Britney Spears Songs but a Carly Rose song that would match her voice for they could do a duet together.

X-Factor: InTenSity Will Do Great

For the past weeks of the X-factor we have seen the auditions to boot camp where the contestants work hard in order to perfect their skills in singing. And get a deal to perform in a Pepsi commercial and a record deal and awesome prizes.

However, sadly, one of the acts has to go. The show opened up like a Pepsi commercial try to grab us to drink the Pepsi. Were they lip-syncing? One of the singers was out of sync. That person should have used the mike to cover his lip.

Outasight performed “Tonight is the Night” which is the theme of the Pepsi commercial with clips of the late Michael Jackson, and clips of Britney Spears. Dang, Britney Spear is so hot in the commercial. I need my Pepsi.

Apparently, when Simon Cowel made a joke and Paula was drinking her Pepsi. It could have been Pepsi, or some bubbly water. She did a spit-take. Simon Cowel made her laugh – that was funny.

It’s either Steve Jones or the writers for the teleprompter people. They could have done a little better. They should have gotten Brian Dunkleman, the original host of American Idol. He would be perfect, and he was funny when he was paired with Ryan Seacrest. Steve Jones, forgettable, that’s what Simon Cowell would say. I hope they replace Steve Jones during the second seasons of the X-factor.

“Time to get serious” Jones said. He needs a better catch phrase and a memorable phrase, any suggestions for him.

Anyway, time to get serious. It’s getting there, the catch phrase. Here are the acts that they were save last night. In no particular order: Marcus Canty, Drew, LeRoy Bell, Astro, Lakoda Rayne, Rachel Crow, Chris Rene …

Some of my favorites were saved. Yes!

Then the tension builds. I was wondering why he did not call Stacy Francis and Josh Krajcik.

Steve Jones called out Melanie Amaro. Great!

Then Josh Kracik (He’s my favorite).

Leaving the bottom three and they were: InTENsity, the Stereo Hogzz and … Stacy Francis (My second to win). What?

Then Stacy Francis was safe.

Down to two: InTENsity, the Stereo Hogzz. These two groups belong to Paula Abdul, and she did a tremendous job in mentoring. These two groups had to perform a song to stay in the competition.

Stereo Hogz went with Bee Gee classic “Emotions,” and it was good. While InTENsity went with a Kelly Clarkson song “My Life Would Suck Without You” a great mixture of lead and supportive voices in the group, they were fantastic.

Unfortunately, one of them has to go, and it was the judges’ choices. If it becomes a tie, then it would be lowest votes that go home. So InTENsity went home.  Even so, it will spawn new talent with the group. The singers in the group will become successfully. They are inHollywood. Dreams can come true.

So You Think You Can Dance: Melanie Moore wins Favorite Dancer.

Melanie Moore, 19-year-old dancer from Marietta,Ga, won the seven season of “So You Think You Dance” on Thursday night. It’s really the dance that won and also by a popularity vote too for the fans who watch the show. Their routines of dance numbers were incredible to watch. So, many creativity in dance to watch and their choreographers taught them the different type of hip-hop, the edgy kind. So wonder this show wins awards for best choreography in a variety show.

When they reveal that the men were cut, Tadd and Marko, this left Melanie and Sasha in the running. These two women were both strong dancers and different in styles.

Every single week the judges have to pick one out of the three person of who will stay in the competition. The top three were chosen by the people, and the judges have to pick which they like.  American Idol will do this in Spring of 2012. They will change the voting procedures. They had a wide selection of judges such as Lady Gaga, Kristin Chenoweth, Megan Mullally, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Christina Applegate and — hello — Katie Holmes, all of whom actually added to our appreciation of the art.Fergusonwas back for the finale — the only non-dancy person behind the judges’ table. They had a surprise guest to come to the dance studio.  It was the cast of Glee, Rivera, Heather Morris and Harry Shum Jr. They gave the four nominees to see a sneak preview to see “Glee 3D.”

During the pass two hours, they showed the judges favorite dance routine, and they were incredible dancers to watch. Over 11.5 million people either watch or voted for their favorite. It was like getting a free preview of  “So You Think You Can Dance”  tour coming soon in arenas across theUnited States. It can’t wait to see them in arenas.
