Whenever a storm passes by, the first thing we are going to say. “There’s a tornado coming and it is full of sharks!”
Holly Sharks!!!
Hey right, like that’s going to happen.
Anyway, the opening scene of Sharknado was clever writing by Thunder Levin, it reminded me of a Twilight episode with William Shatner. The writing was ridiculous and funny with a good plot. The plot was a freaky weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado again in the Big Apple and taking a bite of the iconic sites. Only Fin and April can save the day – again!
Also, they had a lot of cameos and product placement in the movie. Cameos such as
- Will and Anne Wheaton Santa Mira Flight 209 airline passenger he was eaten by shark
- Robert Hays as Captain Robert “Bob” Wilson – Santa Mira Flight 209 pilot
- Kelly Osbourne as Flight Attendant
- Judah Friedlander as Brian
- Andy Dick as NYPD officer
- Judd Hirsch as Ben the cab driver
- Billy Ray Cyrus as Doctor Quint
- Kurt Angle as FDNY fire chief
- Benjy Bronk as Homeless Guy
- Jared Fogle as a man eating a sub on the subway

Staring
Tara Reid as April Wexler
Ian Ziering as Finley “Finn” Shepard
Kari Wuhrer as Ellen Brody
Dante Palminteri as Vaughn Brody
Courtney Baxter as Mora Brody
Mark McGrath as Martin Brody
Vivica A. Fox as Skye
Al Roker as himself
Matt Lauer as himself
Overall, this movie was fun to watch, seeing all the cameos most of them were eaten, but al Roker and Matt laurer really did a great as actors, they played themselves as news reporter and weather reporter and they were believable. I really believe sharks were out there. It was a silly movie with big potentially as a low budget movie. They should have the third one on the big screen.
