On March 13, 1997, 20 years ago, this month. The people of Phoenix, Arizona saw an incredible sight that they will never forget, iPhones wasn’t invented back then, it was impossible to take a picture of it, but people did have some kind of camera or video recording device or better yet, draw what they saw, it was an unidentified flying object.
They were countless of an eyewitness who saw this V-shape of a UFO slowly traveling the whole state of Arizona, it was looking for something. But what was it? It was the size of Boeing 747 and large enough to put football fields in it’s craft.
The local news in the area took a video of the craft, it had lights but no sound of an engine. Many people thought it was a military craft that was flying at night, but it was impossible. It should have made some kind of noise, but it continued to float and travel slowly in the dark.
“I didn’t know what was going on and how did I get outside. One moment I was watching TV and then I was outside. The bright light that passed over my house put me into a trance, and I walked outside,” Jessica Walters said. She even called out her puppy Scruffy, that was the name of her dog, but it was nowhere to be found. She told one the reporters at ABC15.
Another incident when another young couple who was going home
“We just came from the movie hall in town and while I was driving and my girlfriend was doing Karaoke in the car, by the way, she’s a good singer. She stopped singing and then we saw this massive or huge craft with lights coming towards us. It slowly glided over us. Our vehicle stopped suddenly, the radio died too, that made her quiet for a while. The lights of the craft blinded us, and we could see some lights underneath the craft like it was some kind reddish and bluish “ Jack Glass said, “it took a while to pass over us, and once it was passed, the engine came back on and the radio too,” he said. “We continued to drive home.”
What was it looking for?
Many people suspected it could be looking for military weapons, that’s what they are attracted to. Nuclear weapons or better yet, peace on earth.
They were lots of calls and witness who had seen this live before their eyes and video from the News crew that recorded the craft in the air.
It scared some witness and spellbound the town. What was it? And What does it want?
