American Idol is on TV

American Idol top ten 2a

If you haven’t heard American Idol is back, and the votes did not pull through, if you were watching The Voice, on NBC, then you missed the drama on American Idol. Or some other show, they will repeat it, or you could DVR or tape it on your VCR and watch it later.

American Idol is different, they selected the top ten with the TV audience and people who did not vote, didn’t know it was on. It was on. It’s like people don’t care, they think it’s fixed and rigged. It’s not fixed or rigged if people voted someone will win. One time would not help. You can vote many times as you like. They don’t have the phone numbers anymore, everything is online and voting apps too, just go to and download the voting apps.

Sometime people will think that they will win. If they think they will win; can we have thinking power to vote? You have to vote. If you don’t know how to vote, the simply solution is go to and register to vote; and vote for favorite, this is different than the presidential election. You catch the recaps on YouTube or website. Then watch the LIVE show on ABC on Sunday nights. You can DVR your favorite shows you like and watch it later, that’s how DVR works.

Here are your top ten:

Ada Vox

Catie Turner

Cade Foehner

Dennis Lorenzo

Gabby Garrett

Gabe Hutchison

Maddie Poppe

Michelle Sussets

Michale Woodward

Remember, if you don’t vote your favorite will be gone. And who’s fault it is?

Watch American Idol on ABC Sunday nights at 8 pm.

Ballers Season 3 Review

Dwayne Johnson stars as Spencer Strasmore, a retired NFL player who must navigate his new career of choice as the financial manager of other NFL players while dealing with the possibility that his football career has left him with a traumatic brain injury.

I have seen, and it is a funny and interesting show to watch. It had me laughing. Get the DVD and binge the series before Season four starts this summer!

Sarah Palin A Star is Born

I see why John McCain and Sarah Palin would not watch the movie. It was their relationship throughout the whole campaign and the making of a vice president. Who knew we can pick a vice president of the United States on YouTube, who picked O’Biden, I meant vice president Joe Biden?  I did not know he was Irish. Sarah Palin was coached to be vice president; she has to remember facts and figure, and even history. Steve Schmidt (Woody Harrelson), the senior adviser was preparing her with notes and flashcards about the common questions of what the press would ask. Even though she was a spit-fire when debating and putting some of herself out there, and she was great with people.

Senator McCain (Ed Harris) wanted a charismatic vice president to be on his team, and he picked Sarah Palin and the turmoil continued with her. She was missing her family, the press and the media was after her like a swimmer in the middle of the ocean infested sharks. What she did? She poked them in the eye.  She was a fighter. She had nervous breakdowns. The campaign manager was pressuring her to get it right say the right words and key words when debating. It would be nice to read the teleprompter once in a while verbatim. Ad-libbing was great for her and her campaign manager like it when she personalized the speech. She has to stick with the topic of discussion.

People are still saying today she wanted to be president, she writes books about her life and her family, and she likes doing book tours of her books.  How many times, would the press and media would ask the same question: “Are you going to run for  president?” She said “No” many times, it means no. She knows the pressure and the humiliation of the media.

Julianne Moore as Gov. Sarah Palin in “Game Change” on HBO did an excellent job portraying the governor. Julianne Moore got the mannerism and the voice of the former Governor Palin.  I could not tell, was it the real Sarah Palin or Tina Fey?

Steve Schmidt (Woody Harrelson), the senior adviser, is the war hero, and Senator McCain (Ed Harris) comes off as a crusty old soldier who follows orders but can’t help grousing. These guys did a great job, including Woody Harrelson trying to keep Governor Palin straight as possible.

Danny strong, wrote the acclaimed HBO film “Recount” about the 2000 presidential election an Al Gore film political picture, and now he wrote, “Game Change” adapted from the bestseller book about the 2008 presidential race.  The film is focused almost entirely on Sarah Palin and her national rise as John McCain’s running mate.

Danny Strong is a native ofManhattan Beach,California, and a graduate of the University of Southern California; he’s also an actor, and has appeared in episodes of Mad Men, Gilmore Girls, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, among other shows. Acting, though, has taken a backseat to his writing, and that’s not likely to change. He just signed on to write the screen adaptation of The Lost Symbol, the third installment of the Dan Brown thrillers, the movie versions of which feature Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon. Tom Hanks is also the producer of Game Change.

Would Danny Strong get nominated for an Emmy for his writing on Game Change? The movie is exciting to watch.

True Blood: Sookie’s Missing a Year

Watch True Blood on HBO Sundays @ 9pmIt’s been a year since True Blood and a year for Sookie Stackhouse moving forward in her life, and she did it within two weeks and into the future. She was in Fairy’s land when this happened in the last episode and came back with her granddaddy (Gary Cole).

Love really bites when two vampires fall for Sookie, Eric bought Sookie’s house and claims he’s the only one who didn’t give up hope on her. Bill has been named the Vampire King ofLouisianaand has under his employ a Wiccan named Daisy. This is not good. Vampires and witches?

Jess and Hoyt are living in “domestic bliss.” It cannot be easy for them as a couple, but we’re so glad to see them making a go of it. Can vampires cook for their mortal human boyfriend? She should have taken Rachel Ray cooking class. Have Rachel Ray to make a guest appearance, and Jessica can bite her, and she can inherit her blood to cook a decent meal for her man.

Jesus and Lafayette are still going strong, though Jesus keeps pushingLafayetteto explore his magical powers and to join a coven. There are both warlocks, male witches,  this show has more supernatural stuff than regular dramas.

Jason Stackhouse is a full-on sheriff’s deputy and Sheriff Andy is hooked on V. That should go well. In addition, Andy’s sister is a new supporting character, played by “Dexter” alum Courtney Ford. We aren’t sure being Andy’s sister is a step-up from being a serial killer’s daughter, but we’re excited to see the actress in Bon Temps.

Tarahas left Bon Temps and heterosexuality behind. She is now a super-sexy, ripped cage fighter inNew Orleanswith a girlfriend, which is fun and something we hope they explore. What a spider bit her to have a super strength? Oh yeah a vampire bit her and she has his blood and now his strength too. She can be a vampire wonder woman.

Arlene and Terry are raising little Mikey, who Arlene is just convinced is evil. Thankfully, Terry is there to counteract her craziness. Pulling heads out of a Barbie doll, that’s not babies do. But how she got her baby out? Did she scream? A lot going within a year?

Sam has found some new friends who are shape-shifters and are helping him with his anger issues. Stop horsing around!

His brother Tommy, in the wake of being shot, is now apparently living the straight and narrow and hanging out with … Hoyt’s mom? They should killed him off and let him lived in a veterinarian hospital, poor dog… Hoyt’s mom, for real? Let a wild bear take care of him, he’s annoying.

And finally, there are some witches in town. Fiona Shaw is the leader of a local coven, which both Daisy and Jesus belong to and which Jesus is pushingLafayetteto join. WithLafayette’s power, the coven manages to bring a dead bird back to life. Even though it is only for a few minutes, having power over a dead creature may give the vampires some life after being dead, they are already dead.

True Blood on HBO Sundays at 9pm and encores through the week.
