Dairy of a Wimpy Kid: Dogs Day.

Sometime being a teenager is all in the mind of being a teenager, but when I watch ‘Dairy of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days’ it reminds of me of my days as a teenager when I was in middle school. I was friendly with a girl of my dreams, but we ended up as good friends, she did like me, but I did not want to jeopardize the relationship, but my best friend and especially my older sibling always pulling pranks on me.

‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ series based on Jeff Kinney’s books, since I am older now, I do read the books in the library and put them back on the selves. I would feel embarrassed reading a children’s book; especially I am an adult now.

The movie was great and I really like it.  The story is the school is out for the summer, and Greg is ready for the days of summer, when all his plans go wrong. What on earth is he going to do all summer?

Staring Zachary Gordon, he plays Gregg, He’s from Oak Park, California. He has been in numerous and memorable movies such as  R.L. Stine’s “The Haunting Hour,” Children Hospital (2011),  Because I Said So (2007), Desperate Housewife (2007), Georgia Rules (2007) with Lindsay Lohan,  and National Treasure: Book of Secrets, (2007). He was busy back then.

Robert Capron began his acting career when he was eight years old by enrolling in an after school drama program sponsored by Trinity Repertory Company. Later, that year he landed a role as Turkey Boy in Trinity’s production of A Christmas Carol. Since that time, Robert has performed a variety of roles on stage. Recently, Robert has turned his efforts to film. Robert’s first principal role was in Bride Wars where he played Robert. Shortly thereafter he earned a role as Young Dave’s pal in the movie Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Robert’s role as Rowley in Fox’s three-movie franchise Diary of A Wimpy Kid (2010, 2011) is perhaps his most recognized role to date. The third installment, Dog Days, it’s out now. In 2010, Robert landed his first voiceover role as Bob in the Tim Burton directed movie ‘Frankenweenie’, set for release on October 5th 2012. In April 2012, Robert played Young Curly in the movie ‘The Three Stooges.’ Looking ahead, Robert will be playing Derek in the 3D CGI motion-capture version of Tarzan which is set for release in 2013. In addition to theater, and film, Robert has also appeared on television as a guest star on ABC’s The Middle, and as the lead on two episodes of The Hub Network’s The Haunting Hour.

Peyton List from the Disney Channel hit series “Jessie” she started as on Soap Opera called ‘As the World Turns’ and stardom did catch up on her.

Karan Brar is also from the Disney Channel hit series “Jessie.” He started out in the first movie  Diary of  a  Wimpy Kid (2010).

Dallas: A New Beginning

The drama is back in Dallas, and J.R. Ewing is always conniving evil to get back his land from his brother Bobby, remember like father and son. The sons of the two Christopher, Bobby’s adopted son and John Ross J.R. Ewing son. John Ross wants the land because it has oil, and John Ross wants the power of the oil and so do we. Have you seen the gas price around my town? A little higher than unexpected, but if we drill in our back yard and sell in theUSstates will it be cheaper?

This new “Dallas,'” dubbed a “sweeping family epic” and not a nighttime soap opera by its creators, introduces the next generation of theEwingclan and puts those characters alongside J.R., Bobby and Sue Ellen from the 1978-91 series. It picks up some 20 years later in the lives of the warring family members.

We last saw J.R. after he was losing Ewing oil to Cliff Barnes control of Southfork to Bobby, and being abandoned by his wife and children; a drunk and despondent J.R. begins walking around the ranch alone with a loaded gun wishing he had never been born. A gunshot is later fired in J.R.’s bedroom as Bobby returns to Southfork, and he rushes up to J.R.’s room and gasps, saying, “Oh, my God!” as the series ends. (Get the DVD of “Dallas”)

Two decades since viewers last saw them. The Ewings are back. Television’s first family of drama, sabotage, secrets and betrayal are gathering at Southfork Ranch for the upcoming wedding of Bobby’s adopted son, Christopher, to Rebecca Sutter. Although the occasion is joyous, an old family rivalry crosses generations after secret oil drilling on Southfork results in a major gusher. Everyone has his or her own agenda when the fight over oil and land threatens to tear the Ewings apart once again.

J.R.’s son, John Ross (played byHenderson), plots with his aging tycoon father to take over Southfork and drill for valuable oil on the property, for example. Meanwhile, Bobby’s adopted son, Christopher (Metcalfe), is trying to wean the family from crude and shift to Earth-friendly alternative fuel, with Bobby’s financial backing. Head butting and double crossing ensue.

Elena ( Jordana Brewster) the daughter of the Ewings’s cook  is now with John Ross, even though it’s clear she did have a romantic fling with Christopher before she met John Ross. So she’s with John Ross ( J. R. Ewing’s son).

Ann, (Brenda Strong), Bobby’s new wife. I like her. She’s a strong woman, and Bobby has chosen a good wife ever since Pamela left Bobby long ago in previous years and episodes ago.  During the first season of Dallas Pamela Barnes Ewing looked like Kim Kardashian when she was young. Do you think? Victoria Principal will not come back, but once the show progresses and becomes a hit some where down the future ofDallas, we will never know. But keep watching.

Rebecca ( Julie Gonzalo) is Christopher new wife, and they are getting married. During the wedding slash reunion, they were few cast members from the original show getting together. Lucy Ewing (Charlene Tilton) got older, and she will come back for a couple of episodes. Steve Kanaly (Ray Krebbs), Cliff Barnes (Kenny Kercheval) they will also come back for a couple of episodes too.

Here’s the family Tree link to get a better understand of the family drama.

If people think the plot or story is wrong for the newDallas, that’s what they do best. Back stabbing and black mailing that’s what they do best. Exciting drama.

It looks like Bobby want to steer away from the oil business and try alternative’s way to stay in the business tycoon – that’s good.

So far Dallas is holding up by it’s name. Watch Dallas on TNT on Wednesday night at nine pm.

Snow White and The Huntsman

People were looking at me strangely, because I was whistling a song in line while waiting to pick up my tickets to see a snow-white movie I was whistling to “Whistle While You work” but I when heard that Kristen Steward was in it then I let out a wolf whistle. Sorry young lady did not know that you were 15. I am old and I could be your daddy, but I look much younger. I prefer younger. Yes, I am Kristen Steward fan from the Twilight movies can’t wait to see the next one coming out in November during Thanksgiving week. I am going to start staying in line after this movie is over, 5 months in line.  Maybe not.

Anyway, the plot of the movie is that Snow White (Kristen Stewart) is the daughter of King Magnus (Noah Huntley) and Queen Eleanor (Liberty Ross). After his wife’s death, King Magnus falls in love with the beautiful Ravenna(Charlize Theron). Charlize Theron is the gorgeous and evil queen, but she was rescue from the Dark Army, a fleet of invincible glass soldiers who have enslaved several of the neighboring kingdoms. (Great visual effects). The two are married but Ravenna- who is in fact a powerful sorceress and the Dark Army’s master – kills Magnus on their wedding night after claiming that men like the King exploit the beauty of women and discard them. As Ravenna seizes control of the kingdom, Magnus’ most trusted knight Duke Hammond (Vincent Regan) attempts to help Snow White escape the Castle but fails when she is captured by Ravenna’s brother and enforcer Finn (Sam Spruell). Snow White is then locked away in the dungeons while Ravenna uses her Magic Mirror (Christopher Obi Ogugua), who promises to help her become “the fairest of them all”. The visual effects of the mirror were outstanding seeing on screen as the mirror comes out from the round gold mirror and form into a person.  Over the next several years,Ravennacaptures all the women whose beauty might surpass her own and drains their youth. The kingdom meanwhile is left in ruins under her rule andRavenna’s abuse of magic results in her stolen beauty fading.

In other words, it was awesome. Kristen Steward acting ability was good. She wasn’t a vampire in the snow-white movie, but it would cool to see a vampire in snow white, and it did have seven dwarfs.

Chris Hemsworth play Eric the Huntsman, a drunken widower who survived a hunting expedition to the Dark Forest sometime before, the queen orders him and Finn and his men in pursuit of Snow White.  Also known as Thor, the god of lightning in The Avengers,  still playing  and being in the top grossing film, it’s number-one.  But will Snow White and the Huntsman be number-one?

The cinematographer of this movie was breath taking beautiful; it was filmed in theUnited Kingdom. The beach scene was in Marloes Sands beach near the village of Marloes.

If you haven’t seen Snow White and the Huntsman, you should go see it. Great action and adventure movie, it’s 128 minutes long. So please go to the bathroom before the movie starts, you don’t want to miss a minute of the action.

A Supermodel Got Fired

If you have been watching Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, there were fire works and someone went home. The task was to come up with a jingle, brand messaging and performance for the Good Sam’s Roadside Assistance.

Dayana is the Project Manager for Forte. She’s already butting heads with Lisa, her teammates and her relationship with Clay Aiken is not much better.  Dayana and Lisa nearly come to a blow, and Lisa pretty much calls Dayana stupid and a liar, in which I totally agree with Lisa.  How come when you look pretty, attractive and have a super model look  or the  Miss universe look, they started to act dumb  when there’s a smart person in the room, and they want to win a task.  Dayana is a supermodel without a brain, and she doesn’t know much of the music industry when they have Clay Aiken, and she wanted Debbie Gibson to come back?  Just because Dayana likes to show off her body by looking seductive and showing curves on her body is being creative?  Sorry I was masturbating when I wrote that.  When Lisa was arguing and complaining to Dayana and Dayana wanted respect from her. Dayana should do something like – work! I don’t care if Dayana was the project manager for the project. If Dayana was working with the group, she could get respect.  A project manager should get involved, not just sit back and relax and look cool or hot.  She was asking for trouble anyway.  Dayanna was giving the evil look or stare towards her team mates, and that spark a fire with Lisa. Lisa wanted her to do something. In a real business, everybody should get involved, even when there’s nothing else to do, get drinks and snack for the group – but test out the drink, before you drink it – sorry kitty. Their project failed, in the beginning Dyanna was not being supportive in the group and so Dyanna was fired.  When Dayanna, Lisa and Clay were leaving they hug, Lisa was wolverine and her claws came out and slashed her partner, my imagination.

Arsenio was the leader for Unanimous, and they have the same task too to do, their project won. Arsenio and Aubery have their love and hate relationship. Even though Arsenio said “No” to a few times to Aubrey, Aubrey doesn’t listen to him. She just pushes him to do so, even though it’s not right to do and want to win the task, in a business we must learn how to listen to one another.  Since Aubrey is the creative one and seems to be smart, she does like to get involved in every aspect to win the competition, but we must learn how to listen to another and give them a full attention.

The Hunger Games – Review

The Hunger Games Now Playing !!!Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be theUnited States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, “The Hunger Games.” The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. When her sister is chosen by lottery, Katniss steps up to go in her place.

In the futuristic nation of Panem, there is a drastic contrast between the lives of residents living in the Capitol, the hub of government, and those living in the 12 districts that keep the Capitol supplied with food, luxury items, electronics, lumber, textiles and coal — some of the districts are poorer and more bleak than others. As punishment for previous rebellion, every year the Capitol selects a boy and a girl from each of those districts to engage in a fight to the death.

That’s right. It’s a pretty dark scenario — children being forced to train alongside one another before entering an arena where all but one will die as their families, friends and neighbors watch on their television screens at home. It’s perhaps the ultimate reality TV show, more like Survivor on CBS, but different.

The film — and book — follows 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence(Winter’s Bone), who volunteers for the annual games in place of her younger sister, Prim. A skilled hunter with a bow and arrow, Katniss enters the arena — a highly-controlled landscape where the 24 tributes try to survive not only each other, but dangers created by the head game maker tasked with ensuring an exciting show.

Katniss is joined in the Hunger Games by fellow tribute and District 12 resident Peeta, played by Josh Hutcherson, leaving longtime friend Gale, played by Liam Hemsworth, back home in District 12. Yes, it’s love triangle for teens between the two main characters and possible spawns several sequels in the book series.

So now moviegoers have romance, action, drama and a strong but sensitive protagonist to root for — a combination that makes The Hunger Games shine much more brightly than another young adult book-to-movie series adaptation, The Twilight Saga.

Also of mention are the remaining cast members — Woody Harrelson as the former games victor turned drunken mentor Haymitch; Stanley Tucci as the colorful games announcer Caesar Flickermam; Donald Sutherland as the controlling and sinister President Snow; and Elizabeth Banks as Katniss’ and Peeta’s ever-polite escort Effie Trinket.

The visual effects of the movie is somewhat good, but it looks like it was related to the book. The dome shape arena where everything was taken place, everything was in a control environment. It looks Suzanne Collins worked with the screen writer to get the visual scene of what she would like to see on the screen.

Other special effects, where the characters were on fire didn’t seem real enough, more like a B movie, low budget movie, with great expectations on the film, it made a lot of money this weekend.  Will the sequel be better?  It will be in the future.

I was very pleased with the story, if someone disagreed with story due to the violence in the movie; it carries the plot and make the scene more interesting to watch. What’s a movie without violence – it would be a boring and people will leave. This movie got my attention, the story was interesting and it kept me on the edge of my seat. The Hunger Games will only leave you hungry for the next installment.

When actors get the parts, they have to audition and to get the part, they have to read the story. Since Jennifer Lawrence was a big fan of the book and when she audition for the director, executive producers and casting director. She really got their attention when she nailed a scene with her acting partner which was Willow Sheilds.

Another interesting fact was the make-up department which was led by Ve Neil, she was judge on the popular show called Face Off on the Syfy network. She design and create make-up effects for the movies.  In one scene of the movie, when Peeta, Josh Hutcherson, was painting a log on his arm, it was her creation. Another would be when Peeta was camouflage on the rocks near the river, for his other partner crime was killing contestants to get ahead of the game. Katniss Everdeen saw blood on the rocks and started to follow it, but when the blood stop near a rock and the eyes open near the rocks and it freak Katniss.

Jeremy Rosado heads home

It’s so sad to see Jermey Rosado going home. He did a good job in performing “Ribbon in the Sky” Randy said the night before “For me, it wasn’t your best performance. This is a really difficult song. I didn’t really quite believe it tonight,” says Randy. Eventually, his performance and song choice was not that impressive. It’s good idea to challenge yourself in singing, which is good, but we do have to find the right song for your voice can sing and challenge ourselves.

Also the other contestants who were at the bottom were Rosado, Jermaine Jones, Testone and Shannon Magrane. It was a close call to everyone. Everybody did great in performing their song, and it was fantastic. They were great.  Remember know the story of the song and connect to your audience, it’s like acting.

I am so glad the judges are deciding who goes home, previous season the TV audience would choose, and they would send the wrong person going home and the judges would get upset too. Still the audience would vote, but at the final end it’s the deciding time with the judges, this is so much better.
