The Oscar opened with Adam Lambert, American Idol alumni, singing a medley of Queen ’s hit songs from Bohemian Rhapsody. Adam Lambert and the Queen band will be touring this summer. Plus, Adam Lambert is a fantastic singer.

Since there was no host for the show, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Maya Rudolph lighten up the mood, more like Bob Hope, and Johnny Carson would do make them laugh. Comedians make a good host. The top winner for the night was Bohemian Rhapsody with four awards for sound mixing, sound editing, and film editing, While Rami Maleck got for best actor.

Roma got three awards, including best director, Best foreign film, and best cinematography.

Mahershala Ali

Green Book won for Best Picture and best supporting actor for Marhershala Ali.

Best Visual went to First Man

For the category for best costume, Melissa McCarthy and Tyree Henry strolled on to the stage wearing their costumes. Melissa McCarthy dressed in bunnies on her gown from the Favourite and her red hair from Mary Queen of Scots, while Henry dressed as Mary Poppins. The puppet rabbit was having difficulty opening the envelope. So the Oscar goes to Ruth E. Carter for Black Panther, and also Black Panther won for the best music score and production design.

Dana Carvey and Mike Myers present Bohemian Rhapsody. They reunite together on stage and present Bohemian Rhapsody as best picture nominee.

Oh, by the way, the Oscar Fashion on the red carpet was incredible.
