The 2019 SAG awards were awarded the actors for being the best in their field of acting. Acting is not an easy job – it’s hard work. It’s not just memorizing lines. It’s more than that. You have to be believable and take a risk to make it real. The SAG-AFTRA represents more than 1 million actors, announcers, broadcast journalists, dancers, DJs, news writers, news editors, program hosts, puppeteers, recording artists, singers, stunt performers, voiceover artists, and other media professionals. And they get paid. Faces and voices in the entertainment business to be a working actor. To honor them, they give out awards who did their best.

2018 – 2019 was the best year for moviegoers and people who binge-watch their favorite TV shows.

Megan Mullally, from Will & Grace, hosted the show at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in LA.  The top winners were for movies were Black Panther, Bohemian Rhapsody and A Quiet Place. For television, they were The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and This Is Us were the big winners on the television side.
