American Got Talent – The results show

If you missed the results show for America’s Got Talent the other night, and you think your favorite was saved. Guess again, they went home. People did not know how to pick up the phone or cell phone and vote. Your votes count. This is not the presidential election, oh, by the way; The Singing Trump went home –  I guess his second term on AGT did not go well. We still have the real president (being sarcastic).

The acts that performed last night were:

Tonight, only seven acts will go through the semi-finals soon. The bottom three were: Yoli Mayor, Just Jerk, and Christian Guardino. The people in the audience and TV audience have to choose which one will be saved. They have to use the AGT app. Members of the studio audience and the TV viewers would vote.

Only 7 acts will make it through, based on viewers’ votes.

Here’s how it got down tonight:

In the stairwell

First up was In the Stairwell’s military dance crew and the adorable dance duo Artyon and Paige were up against each other. The results were In the Stairwell got the position.

Next up, The Singing Trump, Puddles’ Pity Party and comedian Preacher Lawson, more intense the results were Preacher Lawson.  Too bad for Puddles Pity Party and The Singing Trump. I hope these two acts will do great in the future.

Last season’s winner, Grace Vanderwaal, sang her new song “Moonlight” and her singing voice was absolutely fantastic.  Watch her performance.

 

Next on the elimination night, Darci Lynn and Angelica Hale, both were incredible performers. Couldn’t believe it, they were both save.

Next up, the roller skating duo Billy and Emily England and Bello Nock, the daredevil who almost gave me a heart attack with the Wheel of Death.  Bello Nock was going home.

Now the bottom three with Dunkin’ Save and they once again were Yoli Mayor, Just Jerk, and Christian Guardino. The people save Christian Guardino.

Now the judges have to pick one of the two acts, and they were Yoli Mayor and Just Jerk. It was a tie between the judges, who cannot make up their mind and they have to go with the tie breaker, and Yoli Major was chosen.

Grace Vanderwaal wins American Got Talent

What many people are saying, she’s too young to win America’s Got Talent and how will she head line at Las Vegas shows?

If people could slow down and think for a while, first, it’s the parent’s decision for the child.

If Jackie Evancho could do it, so can she. Jackie was 2nd-place finish in the fifth season of America’s Got Talent in 2010. She will have tutors on the set all the time, and voice coaches too to make her perform better on stage. Jackie Evancho had voice coaches when she had to perform on stage, everybody does need a little training to perfect their skills.

If people think the show was rigged, like they kept saying. It was rigged – people voted for her. Who? Her friends and family! Did you vote?  Maybe and probably they don’t care.

With determination and working hard at your skills it does pay off.  Anybody can win!

They had other great acts and they will become successful in the world of entertainment.

Sal Valentinett did an awesome performance with The Jersey Boys. He made it and sang with them.  He did audition for American Idol and The Voice a couple of years ago. He didn’t make that far in the competition, but he did tonight! He will become successful. He was in the top ten and that was great.

Jon Dorenbos, Clairvoyants, Brian Justin Crum, Tape Face, Linkin Bridge, Sofie Dossi, Laura Bretan, and Viktor Kee. They are going not going home but they are all winners and they will succeed in the entertainment business. Will tape face speak of course, that’s an act?

 

America’s Got talent: We have to Vote !

What an incredible night and full of surprises and suspense on America’s Got Talent.

Nick Cannon came out of the box, in fact, he appeared with a group of girls in one big box, it was magician night on AGT. Deck of cards were flying, and birds turning into women.  A parrot did turned into woman, but she was wearing the same outfit as the parrot.

Henry Winkler was promoting his new show “Better Late Than Never” it talks about four well know celebrity friends going on a trip to Asia and encounter unusually culture they have found. It’s hilarious, you should not missed it, it’s hilarious.  Watch it next Tuesday night.

Magic 1

Magiciians 2

The magic was provided by The illusionist Live on Broadway. The great magicians all over the United States and probably the world. Donald Trump should ask the magicians to build the wall for him. Once the wall is up, people will walk across the field and get hit by an invisible wall, that would be funny.

One magician was trying to make the bulb cracked in a plastic bag. Some of the contestants could not do, even Howie Mande who scream at the bulb, even the bulb had earplugs for it would not crack.

Heidi Klum crack the bulb with her singing, I thought she was a model and not a singer. My cat was awake!

The top three bottom acts were: Tape face, Laura Bretan, and Edgar, people have to vote on the Dunkin’ save.

The first round was: Musicality, Lori Mae Hermandez  and Grace VanderWaal.  Grace was saved! Remember people you have to vote, this is not the presidential race, that’s different!

Next Round was Sal Valentinetti, and Malevo. Did you know he audition for American Idol and the Voice. He is one great contender in the competition.   Sal was saved. Fine with me.

Round three was Jon Dorenbos, Blake Vogt and Deadly Games. I prefer Deadly Games , but Jon Dorenbos was saved.

The final group was Laura Bretan, Tape face, and Edgar they were all tied as the top three with 200 votes.

With the Dunkin’s save the results are: Tape Face is in the finale! No words can describe his excitement, exactly No words. He was speechless. He is Tape Face.

Three out of four judges picked Laura Bretan, she’s from Romania and she won Romania Got Talent a few years ago. Probably she did not get what she wanted from Romania and wanted to win America’s Got Talent where’s there’s plenty of opportunities here for her, if she did not win she will still make her name for herself in America. Don’t judge her on that, or ruin her passion of singing, she will be crushed and disappointed. She’s a child. She’s has an amazing voice it can stop a hurricane coming this way. She has confidence and talent.  She‘s precious. Vote for her.

Probably Simon Cowell knew about this and picked her to be the finalist on the show.

American Got Talent: Quarter Finals

Did you watch America’s Got Talent? Then you missed a great show tonight. Everybody stick the landing including Nick Cannon’s new co-host and Olympic champion Michael Phelps. Nick should have celebrity co-host every week or he is the best host of the program.

Does Michael Phelps have talent? Can he sing, dance, or tell jokes?  Oh I forgot, he is an Olympic champion. The only talent he has is swimming and many medals that came with it

Michael Phelps is now a retired from the Olympics, will we see his son in the future competing in the swimming or the talent proportion of America’s Got Talent?

He did see a free show tonight.

They were suspense between these two acts, they were both great. Remember vote for Grace and the guy was good too.  They were both great. Grace VanderWaal and Brian Justin Crum. If  Brian Justin Crum was on American idol this year, he would have won. Unfortunately, American Idol is cancel. Wait a few years, it may come back.

Edgar is safe – I love this band, I hope they come to the Potato Festival next year in 2017 in Elizabeth City, NC

Blake Vogt – The other magician, he was awesome. He was  an consultant magician in Now You See Me 2 along with David Cooperfield. If you haven’t seen it. Rent it!

And people stop revealing how magicians did their act, that’s the beauty of magic, it’s how the presented and boggles our mind. We love a great mystery and their performance. We saw one bad performance with the Quick Change Magicians few weeks ago, they had technical error live on TV and their timing was off.

The performers who did not made it were great and awesome. I think the audience choose the best and got it right. I hope they make good choices next time. Don’t give your children too much homework when school starts ask them who they like and want to win on America’s Got talent. Critical thinking and better choices make them independent decision maker. That’s what the judges are doing. Make your children judge which contestants are doing great and vote on America’s Got talent on NBC website and supervote on Google on Tuesday night after the program is over.  Watch the whole program first and then make your decision.
