Kristoff St. John Dead at 52

during the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards held at the Kodak Theatre on June 20, 2008 in Hollywood, California.

If you are a fan of the Young and the Restless, you probably heard, Kristoff St. John died at the age of 52.

He was the beloved actor who played Neil Winters on the Young and the Restless since 1991, and he earned nine Daytime Emmy nominations and won ten NAACP image awards. He also appeared in the 1979 miniseries Roots: The Next Generations as the young Alex Haley.  A Different World (1988). Hanging with Mr, Cooper, (1994-1998). Family Matters (1998) and General Hospital (2013).

He was about to do movies which supposedly to come out in 2019, and they were “No Place Like Home” and “Wind of Heaven” if these movies were finished before his death. It would be his last appearances.

He lost son Julian who took his life in 2014 while getting treatment at a mental health facility. He left behind Paris and Lola. St. John’s fiancee, model Kseniya Mikhaleva, tweeted, “You were everything to me.”

In 2017, around the death of Julian suicide, Kristoff threatened to kill himself. He was placed under a 72-hour hold for a psychiatric evaluation.

The cause of death reported by TMZ was depression and alcohol.

He will be missed.

They may have two funerals a private one for the family and on the show. Or how will they write him off the show?
